The Cybersecurity Practice Manager is responsible for leading and scaling Meriplexs cybersecurity service portfolio across all sales channels. This strategic leadership role combines technical expertise business acumen and a client-centric mindset to drive revenue growth ensure solution excellence and strengthen our competitive position in the cybersecurity market. The Practice Manager will lead cross-functional collaboration among sales marketing product and operations to develop go-to-market strategies refine offerings and ensure delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership & Revenue Growth
- Drive the financial and growth objectives of Meriplexs cybersecurity practice.
- Serve as the evangelist for cybersecurity services across prospects clients partners and internal teams.
- Engage directly with key opportunities to support complex or strategic deals.
- Go-to-Market & Messaging
- Develop and refine core messaging positioning and packaging strategy for all cybersecurity offerings.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to ensure effective communication of cybersecurity value to prospects and clients.
- Oversee the quality value alignment and execution of proposals by sales teams and solution architects.
- Practice & Product Management
- Collaborate with the leadership of the Security Operations Center on product roadmap for cybersecurity services identifying new service opportunities based on market trends and client feedback.
- Ensure all solutions are scalable profitable and aligned with Meriplexs standard delivery framework.
- Collaborate with operations to assess delivery readiness and ensure high-quality client outcomes.
- Sales Enablement & Team Development
- Train and mentor sales teams solution engineers and operational staff on cybersecurity solutions and market positioning.
- Support client lifecycle planning to ensure customers can adopt Meriplexs standard cybersecurity products.
- Work with cross-functional leaders in operations finance and sales to reduce client churn and elevate satisfaction.
- Client Support & Advisory
- Serve as a temporary backup to the vCISO team providing executive-level cybersecurity guidance and client advisory services as needed.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years in a leadership role within cybersecurity MSP or technology consulting.
- Demonstrated experience managing a cybersecurity business unit or practice with a focus on growth product management and solution sales.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a proven track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive-level engagement and client-facing activities.
- Expertise in developing go-to-market strategies core messaging and product positioning.
- Experience reviewing and enhancing technical solution proposals to align with client value.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to adapt strategies to changing market and industry dynamics.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in vendor management and partner ecosystem development.
- Experience in educating vendors and partners to drive channel-based lead generation.
Deep knowledge of the MSP and cybersecurity services landscape including current and emerging technologies.
Physical Demands:
Sedentary Work Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally a negligible amount of force frequently and/or constantly having to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
