HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Facilitates and documents communication acceptance and/or denial of patients seeking admission or transfer into or from Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) in a call center setting. Facilitates communication between TMH physicians the TMH Emergency Center and transferring providers and facilities. Assists the Bed Management Team and the charge registered nurse (RN) in managing direct admits transfers into the hospital and emergency admissions.

WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
Required Experience:
Six (6) months of healthcare customer service or medical terminology experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two (2) or more years of healthcare related experience in dispatching transfer centers admissions emergency medical services (EMS) acute careetc.Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Medical Assistant (MA) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Paramedic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or similar credential(s).Basic proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office.
