Job Description

- 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant
- 23656pro-rata (16033 per annum actual)
- 30 hours per week - morning 8.30 12 and afternoon 12.45 3.15 (job share considered splitting mornings and afternoons) 38 weeks per year (term time only)

Introduction
Rougham Primary School is a small friendly village school close to Bury St. Edmunds. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated kind and caring individual to work as a 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistantto support two children with communication and interaction/behaviour needs in KS1 and LKS2. The applicant will need to have a natural aptitude for behaviour management and good interpersonal skills as well as a positive and enthusiastic manner.
You will be:
- able to work independently with the pupil as well as with the class teacher and the SENCO
- supportive and provide the highest quality learning experience to enable children to reach their full potential.
- flexible to adapt duties and responsibilities as per the need of the pupil in your care.
- experienced working with SEND children at primary age.
