About the role
Working in a part-time capacity the Senior AOD Clinician will:
Have significant experience in AOD counselling and be comfortable working within a harm reduction and trauma informed framework using a range of approaches.
Have leadership experience in providing direction and supervision to more junior staff/students.
Actively contribute to the leadership team providing direction across Therapeutic Services in South Australia.
Respond to any issues that arise for clients or volunteers during visits that occur through Rainbow Connection.
Be keen to utilise your skills and knowledge to support a multidisciplinary team and further develop the AOD service.

About you
You will have a tertiary qualification/s relevant to Social Work Counselling Occupational Therapy or Psychology with eligibility for membership of a relevant governing body (e.g. AASW AHPRA APS PACFA).
You will also bring to the role:
Knowledge of and experience of evidence-based AOD therapeutic frameworks.
Experience and competence in the provision of AOD assessment treatment planning and discharge planning.
Previous leadership experience and provision of supervision coaching and/or mentoring.
Advanced organisational skills demonstrating capacity to provide client centred care coordination.
Experience and competence in the design and delivery of face-to-face individual family or group work.
