Position Summary
The Community-based Veterinary Pharmacy Residency Program aims to develop pharmacy leaders who are capable of improving the health of patients within the communities they serve. The primary purpose is to foster the development of community-based veterinary pharmacist practitioners who are practice leaders serving as innovators in community-based veterinary pharmacy practice.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
In order to be considered for this position the candidate must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. The candidate should also be eligible for licensure in the state of North Carolina.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
The preferred candidate should demonstrate: 1) an interest in community-based veterinary pharmacy including emerging practice trends; 2) effective communication and collaboration skills; 3) critical thinking and problem solving skills; 4) leadership and ability to partner with others to achieve a common goal; and 5) assertiveness and motivation.
