Talent Acquisition Specialist - Midas Hospitality

Midas Hospitality is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This individual will assist in the sourcing and recommending of candidates. They will establish trust with hiring managers and identify potential candidates through effective interviewing.


What You Will Be Doing:

  • Source passive and non-passive candidates and qualify experience level for all applicants applying through
    mutually developed criteria.
  • Source candidates using the internet advertisements networking cold calling job fairs/recruiting
    campaigns and other effective processes.
  • Engage in social media (LinkedIn Facebook Twitter etc.) as well as network with candidates as potential
    employees not just when actively looking.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services colleges employment
    agencies recruiters media and internet sites.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references;
    comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Create and maintain records and metrics to provide information and to support recruiting strategies
    sources processes etc.
  • Represent the Company at recruiting events such as job fairs and college campuses.
  • Conduct pre-screens with candidates that have the proper experience and background and set up
    qualified candidates with relevant interview process.
  • Assist in staffing crisis situations (staffing shortages acquisitions etc.) through recruiting temporary labor
    or other solutions.
  • Review update and assist in creating job descriptions regularly and as needed.
  • Post both internal and external job postings.
  • Conduct pre-employment background screenings as needed and collect all new hire paperwork.
  • Assist with project-based tasks in updating recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards
    and colleges when applicable.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field and 1 or more years of recruitment experience.
  • 2 - 3 years of recruitment/hospitality experience.
  • Recruitment experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
