Engineering Production Coordinator
Haumiller Engineering is a 100%employee-owned company that designs and manufactures automation assembly and test equipment for the life science personal care and food and beverage industries.
Haumiller Engineering has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Production Coordinator. As a key member of the Project Planning Team the Engineering Production Coordinator will compile track and display real-time data to support management and engineers. They will coordinate teams monitor progress and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Previous experience with cost control and on-time project completion are required.
What You Will Do:
- Effectively manage engineering projects from start to finish by monitoring project timelines team members and communicating effectively across different departments
- Develop and maintain metrics dashboards to measure and improve engineering efficiency ultimately ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Manage labor to identify deviations from the estimates and implement cost-savings strategies
- Identify and resolve problems that arise when the goals of the project planning team are not being met
- Develop and communicate project expectations and milestones monitor progress planning and evaluating job results
- Facilitate the weekly planning team meeting
What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in project management leading teams in the various disciplines of the automation industry.
- Associates degree or above in Engineering manufacturing or business management or equivalent experience
- Background in engineering preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is a plus
