Job Description

Overview

Utah State Universitys Civil Rights and Title IX Office is seeking a compassionate strategic and experienced professional to serve as the Supportive Measures & Campus Climate Supervisor. This leadership position will oversee a dedicated team of Supportive Measures & Campus Climate Specialists and will play a key role in fostering a welcoming campus environment.

The Supervisor ensures the implementation of timely trauma-informed supportive measures for individuals impacted by discrimination sexual misconduct and other civil rights-related concerns. Additionally this role is central to developing strategies for campus climate improvement data analysis and collaborative outreach efforts across the university.

Responsibilities

  • Lead supervise and provide daily support to the Supportive Measures & Campus Climate team.
  • Oversee and coordinate supportive measures under USU Policies 2101 (discrimination) and 2102/2103 (sexual misconduct).
  • Manage services for individuals with limited English proficiency in accordance with Policy 2104.
  • Oversee accommodations for pregnant and parenting students.
  • Conduct and supervise case intakes and ongoing case management for both students and employees.
  • Ensure all practices align with trauma-informed principles and best practices.
  • Educate the campus community about available supportive measures and resources.
  • Collaborate with the Title IX Coordinator to develop and lead campus climate and culture initiatives.
  • Plan conduct and analyze campus climate surveys.
  • Maintain and update Civil Rights and Title IX web content for accuracy and accessibility.
  • Develop and manage data collection and audit protocols to assess effectiveness of supportive measures.
  • Provide regular performance feedback and training for team members.
  • Build strong campus partnerships to streamline supportive service delivery.
  • Lead onboarding and ongoing training for new team members.
  • Represent the Civil Rights and Title IX Office at campus events and meetings including those defined by interdepartmental agreements.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in social work psychology education public administration or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience in advocating for implementing and/or supervising supportive measures related to affirmative action equal opportunity Title IX investigations and/or a related field.
