Office Management Specialist III

***As required by our governmental client this position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.***

As an Office Management Specialist III you will play a vital role in supporting the Deputy Assistant Secretaries and senior officials within the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs. Your responsibilities will encompass schedule management travel arrangements and correspondence coordination. Youll be the linchpin ensuring the smooth operation of this critical office.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Office Management Specialist III:$115000 to $120000

Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical Dental Vision 401K and other possible benefits as are subject to change with or without notice.

Office Management Specialist III Responsibilities Include:

  • Receive schedule direct and respond to telephone calls for the office referring calls as needed and providing necessary information.
  • Manage and maintain the schedules of senior NEA officials including appointment coordination rescheduling and preparation of briefing materials.
  • Handle social engagements on behalf of senior officials.
  • Make complex and last-minute travel arrangements including appointments reservations and travel advances.
  • Act as a liaison between senior officials and other departments.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of Top Secret and SCI information.
  • Conduct research and compile data as needed.
  • Prepare correspondence telegrams and memoranda following departmental guidelines.
  • Process travel authorizations and vouchers.
  • Review forward and compose correspondence for senior NEA officials.
  • Maintain files and perform special assignments.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Office Management Specialist III Experience Education Skills Abilities requested:

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience with the Department of State or a similar agency focusing on administrative and policy functions.
  • Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance is required.
  • Excellent knowledge of Department of State operations and office management.
  • Experience as a senior-level secretary/office manager with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in personal computers and general administrative practices.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
