You will ensure our inventory vehicles are retail-ready through expert parts coordination reconditioning oversight and precise trade-in evaluations. Key Responsibilities
- Order parts efficiently using manufacturer and aftermarket catalogs
- Coordinate with technicians on repair priorities timelines and parts availability
- Generate detailed and accurate reconditioning estimates for inventory vehicles
- Conduct thorough inspections and assessments of trade-in vehicles
- Communicate service recommendations and technical information to sales team
- Track work progress and ensure quality standards are consistently met
- Maintain detailed documentation and accurate records in our service management system
- Support sales team with technical explanations when customer questions arise
Required Qualifications
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic working knowledge of automotive systems and common repairs
- Parts ordering experience or strong willingness to learn
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems
- Proven ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive problem-solving attitude
- Flexibility to work varied hours including occasional evenings
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automotive service advisor parts specialist or technician
- Experience with automotive service software and parts catalog systems
- Formal automotive training through vocational college technical school or OEM programs
- Knowledge of current automotive technologies and service procedures
- Experience in dealership or high-volume shop environment
