In this role you will be working as a Product Engineer for a client that works in engineering and manufacturing of steel structures for lighting traffic control signage and mass transit. This position will be responsible for:
- Plan and formulate structure design
- Perform structural analysis and design recommendations
- Review product design for compliance with engineering principles organization standards and customer requirements
- Direct integration of technical activities and products
- Evaluate and approve design changes specifications and drawing releases
This position is a direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree Civil or Structural Engineering required
- 3 years of experience designing steel pole structures for electrical transmission substation and distribution applications
- Experience with PLS Pole and AutoCAD required
- Experience with heavy structure fabrication required
- Experience with DOT projects required
- Experience with tower structures or traffic signal structures required
- Ability to comprehend and interpret safety codes utility standards and regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
