Job Summary:
GSRP Associate Teacher Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated GSRP Associate Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will assist lead teachers in delivering high-quality instruction to preschool-aged children following Michigans Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Support lead teachers in implementing engaging developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Create a safe inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
- Foster childrens social emotional and cognitive growth through structured activities.
- Build positive relationships with students families and staff.
- Assist with classroom planning organization and behavior management.
- Ensure compliance with GSRP guidelines and Michigan licensing regulations.
Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
- Associate Degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education Child Development or a related field.
- Valid Center-Based Preschool CDA credential.
- Existing 120 Clock Hour approval letter from MDE (grandfathered status applies).
Additionally preferred candidates will have:
- Experience working with preschool-aged children.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A deep passion for early childhood education and development.
