Position Summary:
Franklin University a private independent accredited not-for-profit University located in Columbus Ohio invites applicants for its part-time (28 hours per week) Test Proctor position. The part-time proctor position is a 28 hour/week position focused on providing in-person Testing Center proctoring supporting online proctoring platform needs fielding student phone and email queries and facilitating the testing process by supporting test requests approved distance proctors online proctor platform integration and test creation.
The Testing Office is open Wednesday and Thursday between 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and on Friday between 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The office has remote hours on Monday and Tuesday.
This role will work an onsite hybrid schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Complete opening/closing duties for testing office
* Provide a high level of customer service on phone email chat as well as in-person
* Administer all department exam offerings according to established policies and instructor/institution directives
* Integrate online proctoring platforms into Canvas
* Actively proctor all students testing
* Assist in exam extensions approving distance proctors processing test requests and other projects as assigned
* Enter local placement scores in Datatel
* Check students in according to each contracts specifications
* Troubleshoot any technology issues and communicate for resolution with the Testing Center manager
* Reviewing potential exam misconduct issues in our online proctoring platforms for placement and class testing
* Sending other communications as needed
Requirements:
* Excellent Customer Service Skills
* Bachelors degree or degree in progress (cannot be a student at Franklin)
* Microsoft Office proficient
* Ability to multitask
* Keen attention to detail
* Occasional Saturdays possible
* Some evening availability (6pm)
