Due to the strong growth of our company we are looking for a Transport Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Transport Manager Iberia this person will be responsible for managing ground transportation flows between our agencies and supporting the broader transport team.
What responsibilities and objectives will you have
At a national and European level:
- Act as the main point of contact for the San Fernando de Henares Hub during the evening shift (3:00 PM to 12:00 AM) Sunday to Thursday.
- Serve as a liaison between Iberian agencies and the rest of Europe.
- Plan and coordinate shipments: monitor and follow up on collections and deliveries.
- Handle and resolve operational issues and incidents.
- Continuously search for new transportation providers and assist in their onboarding.
- Monitor and optimize transportation costs.
- Review and validate monthly transportation invoices.
Well what will the requirements be
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the transportation/logistics sector.
- Solid knowledge of road transport regulations especially driving and rest time rules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Outlook.
- Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
- Proactive dynamic and solutions-oriented person with strong teamwork skills.
- Availability to work the evening shift (3:00 PM to 12:00 AM) Sunday to Thursday with a 1-hour break.
