Job Description
- Location: Bourne MA 02532
- Assignment Duration: Permanent
- Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours/week
- Pay Rate: $28- $30 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Perform therapeutic exercises gait training and functional activities with patients.
- Educate patients and families on exercise programs and home safety.
- Record accurate and timely patient progress notes and documentation.
- Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to adjust treatment as needed.
- Ensure equipment is clean safe and maintained.
- Participate in team meetings and patient care conferences.
- Comply with all state and federal regulations and facility policies.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- Previous experience as a PTA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
