Job Description
The Nordic regions leading player in freight car maintenance is now looking for an experienced consultant to ensure continued access to data in a legacy Oracle-based IFS environment.
The assignment involves independently installing and configuring an Oracle database and setting up IFS version 9 in a new local environment on Linux.
The consultant must establish and document a stable operating environment.
An important part is to connect the database to the application server and verify that it works without dependencies to legacy domain solutions.
After establishment we would like to see ongoing supervision and access to fault rectification with some foresight.
This is a high-priority assignment where your technical expertise makes a direct difference.
