Job Description

The Sales Strategist will lead the development and implementation of smart creative and data-informed sales strategies to grow Pulse s business. You will identify client needs craft compelling solutions and work cross-functionally to deliver integrated marketing strategies that win new business and grow existing accounts.


This role requires a strong understanding of marketing trends digital platforms and creative strategy. You will play a pivotal role in revenue generation by aligning our media and creative solutions with client objectives.


Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Sales Development

  • Develop and execute compelling insight-driven sales strategies that align with company objectives.

  • Identify new business opportunities generate leads and convert prospects into long-term clients.

  • Translate client briefs into actionable strategic solutions collaborating with editorial production influencer and operations teams.

  • Design and present integrated media influencer and digital marketing proposals tailored to client needs.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends consumer behaviour and digital innovation to inform strategy and maintain Pulse s competitive edge.


Client Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong long-lasting client relationships by acting as a strategic advisor.

  • Conduct discovery sessions and pitch Pulse s products and services to prospective clients.

  • Gain in-depth knowledge of clients businesses and marketing goals to craft bespoke solutions.

  • Represent the client internally ensuring seamless delivery and client satisfaction.


Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies and adjust plans accordingly.

  • Maintain accurate records and updates in the sales CRM (Zoho).

  • Produce and share pipeline updates sales forecasts and revenue reports with internal stakeholders.


Collaboration & Innovation
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales and other team leads to ideate and refine go-to-market approaches.

  • Contribute to team development by sharing best practices and mentoring team members.

  • Lead or support internal brainstorms and play sessions to spark innovative solutions to client challenges.


Other Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets across general sales and Play Studio products.

  • Take on any other duties as assigned within the scope of your role.



Requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree in Marketing Business Communications or a related field. An MBA MSc or CIM qualification is an advantage.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or marketing role preferably within digital marketing media or creative agency sectors.

  • Strong understanding of sales strategy digital marketing and brand storytelling.

  • Proven ability to develop and deliver winning sales proposals.

  • Experience in using CRM systems (e.g. Zoho) and reporting tools.

  • Excellent presentation negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A self-starter with a results-driven mindset and high level of accountability.
