- Escort patients to exam rooms
- Assist physicians with exams and procedures administer medications and perform tests.
- Assist patients with questions about medications and wound care.
- File charts; ensure all related reports labs and information are available in patients medical records before their appointment
- Take telephone messages; provide feedback and answer patient/physician/pharmacy calls
- Process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians
- Clean and restock examination rooms
- Sterilize instruments
Qualifications :
- Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
- Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flow
- Excellent computer skills

Experience:
- 1 year(s) of Medical Assistant experience (Required)
- Knowledge of medical terminology HIPAA and OSHA regulation (Required)
- EMR experience (Required)
- Dermatology experience (Preferred)

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Bachelors degree (preferred)
Certifications/Licenses:
- Medical Assisting Certification (Preferred)
