We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Senior UX Writer to support our growing UX team and enhance the customer experience across our digital health insurance products. In this role you will lead the development and implementation of clear user-centered content within digital interfacescollaborating closely with designers researchers engineers product managers and legal stakeholders. Youll craft intuitive microcopy interface text and messaging that aligns with our design system and meets regulatory standards while advocating for consistency accessibility and a cohesive voice and tone. Your work will play a critical role in shaping experiences that are not only compliant but also empathetic clear and meaningful for our users.

Additional Information :
a. Work in close collaboration with internal SMEs stakeholders and leaders to produce text and microcopy for Wellmarks customer-facing platforms and services including (but not limited to) member provider and producer audiences.
b. Manage writing guidelines and set UX standards for the brand voice to raise the bar and share our expertise with product marketing and tech partners.
c. Write edit and refine copy for a variety of digital platforms ensuring consistency with brand voice and style guides.
d. Lead UX writing content development and junior UX writers within specific product areas and experience pillars.
e. Perform regular content audits to ensure UX copy is aligned with Wellmarks internal guidance meets the current strategic needs of the business is factually correct complies with BCBS and government-led policy and functions as intended.
f. Develop clear and effective electronic communications to enhance user engagement and retention while understanding and empathizing with Wellmark customer needs.
g. Capture and report user behavior data identifying trends and activity associated with specific pages and front-end elements.
h. Work directly with Legal team stakeholders to translate complex legal and technical concepts into user-friendly language.
i. Plan A/B testing and use analytics to determine the most effective tone and phrasing to improve content strategy.
j. Make decisions based on user feedback metrics accessibility practices and usability findings.
k. Teach writing principles and provide guidance on UX writing and human-centered design best practices to team members and other cross-departmental teams during collaborative studio working sessions.
