Job Description
Portico is currently recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our team at a corporate hotel in Marble Arch.
The successful candidate will join our close knit small and friendly team who work to ensure that our guests have a memorable stay and leave with a smile on their face.
Duties of the Housekeeper include:
- Cleaning and servicing all aspects in relation to the preparation of guest accommodation.
- Ensuring that both back of house and public areas are always kept in a clean and tidy state.
- Providing a friendly efficient and hygienic service to all customers.
- General cleaning of all rooms including but not limited to; dusting vacuuming making beds washing and disposing of waste.
- Monitoring cleaning and consumable supplies raising any requirements as needed.
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
- Protecting equipment and making sure there are no inadequacies.
- Dealing with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
- Adhering to rules regarding health and safety and remaining aware of any company-related practices.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week with rotating 7.5-hour shifts 5 days out of 7 from Monday - Sunday
Salary: 27008
Qualifications :
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
A keen eye for detail
An outgoing and friendly personality
Highly reliable and efficient
The ability to build good working relationships with colleagues clients and customers alike.
Basic communication skills
