• Except to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift
• Administer medications change dressings monitor vital signs and chart with timely documentation
• Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work care coordination physical therapy occupational therapy lab respiratory therapy and imaging.
• Performs and documents assessments as stated on Patient Care Plan and/or as patient condition requires i.e. admission system assessment vital signs intake and output ADLs etc.
  
• Identifies discharge planning/education needs as early as possible upon admission documents and plans in order to meet those needs.
• Completes all documentation according to standard operating procedures.
• Performs personal cares according to standard operating procedure.
• Collects and accurately charges for all patient care items and/or services. Charge sheet is completed at the end of each shift.
  Assesses identifies and communicates unit staffing needs for current and oncoming shifts and assigns admissions and/or transfers based on patient acuity level nurse/patient ratio and nursing skill levels.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our state of North Dakota.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified through American Heart Association (AHA) required.

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• ACLS and PALS from American Heart Association recommended.
