The Purchasing and Financial Assistant position is responsible for a variety of duties to meet the business and financial obligations of the Childrens Developmental Services Agency of Western North Carolina accounting for 95% of the positions time. The chief responsibilities are a) purchasing processing invoices and keeping records for accounts payables; b) co-managing motor fleet in the Asheville office; c) tagging fixed assets/inventory and coordinating and tracking surplus and supplies; d) maintaining databases used to track and document information such as fixed assets and purchase requisitions and invoices; e) taking referrals and assisting with reception duties.
The remaining duties (5%) include assisting with coordination of maintenance of central office equipment assisting staff with office equipment back-up duties for medical records and special projects requested by the supervisor.

Infant-Toddler Program which provides supports and services for families and their children birth to three who have developmental delays and/or disabilities.
