Job Description

Task Description: 2-4 years of experience:
DDH 2LS Support JOB Description:

Provide technical support for IBM data stage administration data flow related issues that are raised by End customers.
Manage Java services and ensure any incidents reported to it are resolved within SLA.
Coordinate with Build /Architect team for any long pending cases in configuration.
Ensure deployments are done on time in Production environment.
Maintain the list of servers under each service category with the inventory of applications middle-ware and patches installed.
Prepare the patching calendar with proposed dates for patching server components.
Provide the overview of patching schedules to BUIT and get proper approval for downtime.
Maintain smooth operation of servers with ability to implement monitoring to avoid outage.
Provide technical support to users of business applications using standard ITS processes and procedures while trouble shooting the issues in patch implementation.
Investigate vulnerabilities and other threats and determine appropriate actions.
Liaise with staff responsible for the development of system enhancements to overcome known problems.
Develop and document technical processes and procedures as needed.

Technical Skills:
OS Linux Must Have
SQL Must Have
Java - Basics
