Job Description
- Permanent Part-time positions
- Mosman Park location
- Competitive Salary Packaging ($18550) and Leave Loading (17.5%) payable on annual leave
We are seeking aLead Support Workerand a Support Worker to support individuals with complex needs including sensory physical and intellectual disabilities and often challenging behaviours living in shared accommodation.
- Support our customers in all aspects of daily life including; maintaining their home facilitating and attending outings and medical appointments personal hygiene and support with daily activities whilst always demonstrating dignity and respect for our customers.
- Communicate and engage with the customer in a relevant and meaningful way.
- Transport participants travelling to and from activities and outings using Rocky Bay vehicles.
- Ensure all supports and services provided are accurately documented and accounted for through time-sheets case notes incident reporting etc.
Lead Support Worker Roster 72 hours per fortnight
Week 1 Mon/Thu 0700-1500 Fri/Sat/Sun 1600-0000
Week 2 Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri 0700-1500
Support Worker Roster 58 hours per fortnight
Week 1 Mon 1500-2300 Wed 0700-1400 Fri/Sat 0700-1430
Week 2 Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu 1500-2200
What we require:
- Available to work rosters between Monday-Sunday
- Encourage support and organise daily activities dance classes swimming lessons & other social events
- Drive modified vehicles to accompany clients to appointments and social occasions
- Meet the unique needs of each individual by following their person centred plans and working towards their bigger life goals
- Cert III in Disability/Individual Support (Disability) is highly desirable
