      Were seeking a Desktop Support Analyst I - detail-oriented tech-savvy professional who thrives on troubleshooting and delivering exceptional support. In this role youll be the first line of defense for hardware and software issues ensuring our users stay productive and connected.

      And yes youll be doing all this while having fun working in a culture thats all about teamwork mutual respect and making sure you feel appreciated!

      The Details:

      • Location: Chillicothe IL 61523
      • Shift: M-F 7:00AM - 3:30PM CST also on call once every 5 weeks (outside regular hours)
      • Pay: $23/h

      What Youll Be Doing:

      Technical Support & Troubleshooting

      • Analyze and resolve user incidents and service requests.
      • Install deploy and maintain desktops laptops printers scanners and other peripherals.
      • Provide support via phone chat or in-personwhatever the situation calls for.
      • Perform system updates including Microsoft security patches and antivirus definitions.

      Incident Management & Documentation

      • Track and manage tickets using internal or client ticketing systems.
      • Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) through timely and effective resolution.
      • Create and update knowledge base articles and user documentation.
      • Write clear procedures and instructional materials to support self-service.

      Collaboration & Communication

      • Coordinate with third-party vendors and service technicians.
      • Meet with users to understand and resolve recurring issues.
      • Communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly manner.

      What You Bring:

      Required Qualifications

      • Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT or a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience.
      • 2 years experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role.
      • Intermediate knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
      • Ability to prioritize tasks manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
      • Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative spirit.
      • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 SharePoint and enterprise ticketing systems.
      • CompTIA A Certification.
