The Raytheon Software Engineering Team is looking for a Senior Full Motion Video (FMV) Software Developer. As the FMV SW Developer you willwork as part of a scrum team in an agile development environment to develop and sustain the operational code base. This is an onsite role based in Richardson TX.
What You Will Do
- This position will support the sustainment and modernization of a FMV video streaming capability supporting a large quantity of simultaneous video streams.
- This individual will implement and maintain the processing remediation and routing of video streams to support a key real-time mission capability as part of an Agile development team.
- The individual will be expected to interact with the operations team and other programs to identify root cause and support resolution of issues discovered with the FMV capabilities in operations.
- Obtain and maintain SCI program access and complete polygraphs.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Experience with Java and C.
- Experience with networking including TCP and UDP protocols.
- Experience with MPEG-2 or other FMV transport streams (H.264 H.265 MPEG-4)
- Experience with KLV (key length value) metadata and MISB standards.
- Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI prior to start date.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience/Exposure to Moving Target Indicator (MTI) formats and data
- Experience with GStreamer FFMPEG or other video libraries
- Experience or familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and address issues

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
