PathPoint is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional Floater to join our Employment Services team in Ventura County CA. This position will travel between our different worksite locations including Oxnard Camarillo Thousand Oaks Simi Valley Westlake and Moorpark. In this role you will coach and support clients with disabilities as they work through internship rotations helping them develop skills and confidence for regular employment when their internships end. This position is full-time for 35 hours per week.

What Youll Do:
- Coach and support clients by teaching soft skills such as professional communication behavior and grooming/hygiene and hard skills specific to their work duties.
- Provide individualized support including job coaching building natural supports identifying job accommodations and use of assistive technology.
- Collaborate with clients employers staff and other partners to creatively address any issues affecting interns training and employment.
- Lead classroom discussions on a variety of employment-related skills.
- Write case notes monthly evaluations and other reports regularly.
Who Were Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with job location must be willing to travel to different locations throughout Ventra County
- Tech savvy including proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software
- Prior experience either professionally or personally working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Culturally aware acknowledges diverse employee backgrounds possesses skills to collaborate across cultures and avoids biased assumptions based on cultural differences.
Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt position starting at $22.00 per hour. If you are bilingual (Spanish or ASL) the starting wage is $22.30 per hour and the pay range is $16.03-$25.24. The pay range is subject to change based on a variety of factors.
