Description


Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Assembly Supervisor the Assembly Refurb Technician Level I performs basic assembly tasks using hand tools to support the refurbishment and preparation of returned products. This entry-level position is responsible for following standard operating procedures to disassemble clean reassemble and prepare products for testing and shipping. The role may assist in evaluating returned products but is not expected to perform troubleshooting with minimal supervision. This is a non-supervisory position.


Responsibilities:


General:

Perform basic assembly and disassembly tasks as directed

Use hand tools and equipment to complete assigned work

Clean and prep components for reassembly


Quality Control:

Assist in visual inspection of returned products

Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the supervisor


Shipping:

Support preparation of refurbished products for shipping


Safety:

Follow all safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required


Maintain Work Practices:

Keep workspace clean and organized in alignment with 5S standards

Maintain a positive and cooperative team environment

Report to work on time and consistently


Marginal Job Functions:

Assist with special projects or cross-functional tasks as needed

Requirements


Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required


Experience:

Prior manufacturing assembly or warehouse experience preferred but not required

Willingness and ability to learn to assemble Matrix Strength and Cardio equipment


Other Requirements:

Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures

Willingness to work overtime when needed

Valid drivers license preferred
