What youll do at OhioMHAS:
- Supervises correction officers assigned to shift being covered
- Recommends approval/disapproval of officer leave requests
- Completes shift reports for submittal to Captain
- Completes annual and probationary Performance Evaluations as assigned
- Supports Nursing Leadership on shift as needed
- Train officers in the security operations at Timothy B. Moritz Forensic Unit
- Monitors & coordinates shift security operations & documents activities
- Makes daily inspection rounds to observe shift activity & to ensure compliance with all security safety fire health sanitation & other hospital regulations
- Response to emergency codes to support staff & patients
This is an hourly position and is exempt from the bargaining units with a pay range of 11on theE1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule. Normal shift hours are 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Schedules may be changed to meet operational needs outside of the posted general working hours.
