API Automation JD:Key responsibilities will be: Creation and execution of automated test scripts against APIsMaintaining automation script suites of delivered functionalityParticipate in engineering discipline best practice and standards compliance within HSBC and global ITMUST to have SkillsExpertise in creating automated tests for APIsHands on experience in any Java IDE (e.g. Eclipse IntelliJ)Strong understanding and hands on experience on Core Java MavenHands on experience on Cucumber BDD methodology Gherkin syntaxHands on experience on GIT Jenkins JIRA & ConfluenceHands on experience on REST ASSURED/JUnit framework for API testingGood Understanding of REST API types (GET PUT POST DELETE) an its workingGood understanding of HTTP JSON protocol and syntaxGood understanding of Message Schema RAML Message Request-Response mechanismWorking experience in Agile methodology / SAFe with in-sprint automationWorking experience on CI/CD Pipeline concept along with groovy knowledge of any cloud based infrastructure platforms preferably written and verbal communication skills
