Job Description
- Safeguard the Citys critical systems and lead cybersecurity initiatives
- Be responsible for administering the Citys on-premises and cloud-based ICT systems to ensure secure reliable and efficient digital operations
- Be hands-on with cutting-edge tools and platforms
- Permanent full-time position offering around $105K super!
Are you a seasoned ICT professional with a passion for system administration and cyber security
Were seeking a senior systems administrator/cyber security specialist to lead the management and protection of our hybrid ICT environment. In this critical role youll be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our core systems while spearheading cybersecurity initiatives aligned with the ASD Essential Eight and ISO standards.
What youll do
- System Administration and support of the Citys Microsoft 365 and Azure environments along with the management and maintenance of on-premises systems and business-critical applications
- Analyse review and respond to security alerts events and vulnerabilities including implementing mitigation activities
- Lead cybersecurity projects and support incident response business continuity and disaster recovery planning
- Work collaboratively across teams to deliver a secure and resilient digital environment
Please note the successful applicant will be required to participate in an emergency after hours on-call roster which is shared across the team.
What youll bring
- Degree in ICT or equivalent experience
- Strong skills in system admin cybersecurity and cloud platforms
- Experience with Microsoft 365 admin Azure AD PowerShell and managing complex ICT environments
- Ability to lead projects solve problems and think analytically
