The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Finance team.
RTX Corporate is looking for a talented Finance Director Realty and Business Services. As the Finance Director for Realty and Business Services where youll serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership across Real Estate and Business Solutions. In this high-impact role youll lead a team of 15 finance professionals driving financial performance investment prioritization and enterprise-wide savings initiatives. From forecasting and capital planning to synergy tracking and process improvement youll play a critical role in shaping financial strategy and execution across multiple business unitswhile delivering insights that influence decision-making at the highest levels.
What You Will Do:
- Strategic finance partner for the ES Real Estate and Business Solutions VPs and their executive staff
- Cross business unit collaboration to drive strategic investment prioritization
- Lead financial support of large multi business savings initiatives
- Lead a team of 15 finance team members
- Drive financial execution forecasts project support performance against AOP synergy analysis and tracking cost control initiatives
- Maintain financial oversight of operating budgets capital expenditures and the controls environment
- Leverage CORE approach to assess and mature processes and drive continued improvement & harmonization
- Drive effective forecasting including the quarterly forecast Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Plan (LRP).
- Proactively lead self-initiated analysis solve problems and resolve issues
- Prepare and present effective leadership presentations
- Ability to travel as needed 1 week per quarter on average.
- This role can be remote based in the CONUS preferably within reasonable distance from an RTX facility
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience or in absence of a degree 18 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
- Proven success leading FP&A and functional finance teams in fast-paced environments with strong forecasting expertise across AOP LRP and quarterly cycles.
- Experienced in empowering analysts solving complex problems and driving decisions aligned with RTX values.
- Skilled communicator with a track record of delivering clear impactful presentations to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience partnering cross functionallyand influencing positive change with and without direct authority
- Experience in FP&A and functional finance
- Demonstrates leadership skills by having the ability to influence others through leading and guiding
- Strong communication and organizational skills comfortable speaking in large groups and has the ability to confidently and professionally share opinions with every level of management
- Strong track record of delivering exceptional results to customers

Location/Type: Hybrid
- Farmington CT is the preferred location however candidates located near an RTX hub will also be considered.

The salary range for this role is 176000 USD - 352000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
