Overview
Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 370-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California serving the areas of north Sacramento County and south Placer County for more than 50 years. It is one of the areas largest and most comprehensive medical centers. Dedicated to the communitys well-being our staff and volunteers provide excellence in care for our patients each year. Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years credentialing experience in an Acute Care setting or 5 years credentialing experience in an Ambulatory setting (required).
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent (required).
Associates or Bachelors degree or some college education preferred.
Licensure:
CPCS certification is preferred.
Special Skills:
Special skills required include: good data entry skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; medical terminology; customer service;
organizational skills; team orientation; ability to maintain confidentiality and familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
Training:
Training in or working knowledge of TJC/CMS/Title 22 /NCQA standards and requirements; advanced Microsoft Office products MSO/MSOW Excel Word Outlook Access Internet software; and office equipment including computer copy machine fax and scanner (required).
