Position Summary:
At Grand Canyon Resort Corporation exceptional customer service is paramount and the reliable operation of our IT systems is crucial. We are seeking a dedicated IT Applications Support Technician to provide outstanding support to our staff and guests regarding computer systems hardware and software. This technician will assist application users remotely and in person providing first-tier support to the various applications in use at GCRC with a focus on efficient issue resolution. A passion for customer service combined with strong problem-solving and communication skills is essential for success in this role.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Respond to tech inquiries via email through online chats over the phone or in person
Inform customers about IT products and services
Walk clients and customers through step-by-step through the problem-solving process
Help with troubleshooting applications and software
Perform applications-related tasks to support our various systems
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory service
Communicate customer feedback to the appropriate internal team members
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Experience computer software such as PMS ticketing and online stores
Ability to break down technological processes and deliver clear step-by-step instructions
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to diagnose and resolve a variety of technical issues
Qualifications:

Tech savvy with experience working in a tech-related field

Experience working as a front-desk customer service position or in a similar customer support role
Working Conditions:
Work will generally be performed using computer equipment in an indoor office environment. Setup or maintenance of some peripheral equipment may require work in areas such as data rooms or wiring closets with restricted room for movement. May be required to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. May be required to climb to reach equipment in inaccessible locations.
