Are you an ECT French Teacher with a love for language and culture
A high-achieving secondary school in Wandsworth is on the lookout for an enthusiastic ECT French Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT French Teacher who wants to inspire a new generation of linguists while working in a supportive and well-resourced school. If youre an ECT French Teacher looking for a rewarding first role this could be the perfect match.
As an ECT French Teacher youll deliver engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4 helping students build their confidence in speaking listening reading and writing French. Youll also take part in cultural events and language enrichment activities throughout the year.
Location: Wandsworth Salary: MPS (Inner London) Start: September 2025
ECT French Teacher Key Responsibilities:
- Teach French across KS3KS4
- Use interactive and practical resources to support language learning
- Help plan trips language days and extracurricular events
- Monitor student progress and support individual needs
Person Specification:
- QTS and a degree in French or MFL-related subject
- Strong classroom presence and clear communication skills
- Passion for French language and culture
