A leading Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) manufacturer is seeking a National Account Manager to lead the development and execution of national retail strategies. This is a high-impact relationship-focused role for someone with deep experience managing and expanding corporate-level accounts across major retail channels.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the OPE category highly experienced in national retail sales and capable of both strengthening existing partnerships and unlocking new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage and grow national retail accounts including companies such as Menards Tractor Supply and Harbor Freight - Develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to each account - Drive full-cycle account management from planning through execution - Collaborate cross-functionally on product launches promotions and retail initiatives - Represent the brand at trade shows corporate meetings and industry events
Qualifications: - 10 years of experience in selling to national retail accounts at the corporate level - Demonstrated success working with accounts like Menards Tractor Supply or Harbor Freight - Experience managing multi-location corporate retail accounts is preferred - Strong understanding of the Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) market - Proven ability to build grow and sustain long-term retail partnerships - Bachelors degree preferred but not required - Willingness to travel as needed for business meetings and trade events
