The Department of Corrections (DOC) is seeking motivated Psychological Services Associate Corrections to join our Psychology Department at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Coal Township. As a Psychological Services Associate for DOC you will help provide psychological services to a population of individuals incarcerated at SCI Coal Township. Your work in this role will ensure that individuals mental health and general emotional needs are addressed efficiently and effectively during their incarceration. In this position you will assist the Licensed Psychologist Manager in planning and organizing outpatient mental health and psychological services for SCI Coal Township including the development and promulgation of patients treatment plans. You may administer psychological tests and intelligence tests under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist Manager. You can expect to conduct mental status examinations under the supervision of the Licensed Psychologist Manager and prepare psychological assessments. Additionally you will conduct individual and group treatment for individuals diagnosed with mental illnesses individuals convicted of sex offenses individuals dually diagnosed and general population inmates as needed.
