Job Title: Accounting Intern (Summer/Fall 2025)
Salary: $20-22/hour

Job Responsibilities:
Reef and Black Desert Resort are looking for an Accounting Intern who can joining us for Summer and into Fall 2025. This person will work closely with and report to our Regional Vice President of Finance to help support corporate accounting responsibilities as well as golf and HOA-related accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Assist in tracking and reconciling daily revenues from operations
- Record journal entries related to inventory payroll equipment and maintenance expenses
- Assist in billing homeowners for dues fees and assessments
- Process payments and update homeowner accounts in the system
- Help maintain general ledgers for multiple HOAs under management
- Assist in month-end close tasks and preparation of monthly financial reports
- Assist in year-end financial statements preparation and other audit requests
- Perform data entry bank reconciliations AP/AR processing
- Assist with data summary and ad hoc reporting as necessary
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required
- Assist in year-end tax financial statement and other report preparation
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing bachelors or masters degree in accounting
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel experience with accounting software (Quickbooks Buildium NetSuite etc.) is a plus
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and reporting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week (during summer) and ability to work at least 20 hours per week during school year (flexible hours can be accommodated)
