DescriptionThe Planning Analyst is an intermediate individual contributor role responsible for researching and providing financial space planning and business related analyses to assess the impact of various projects and initiatives. Analyzes trends costs and other data related to facilities inventory and budgets. Maintains key data in management system database to extract data for various customers. Assists in logging data updates in multiple databases prepares research packets for use by Planning Managers and helps improve business operations and customer service to both internal and external partners.
Responsibilities- Completes detail analysis and research for assigned projects; identifies options prepares reports and recommends action or change.
- Communicates with headquarters departments concerning facilities needs.
- Supports the administration of annual plans and scoping of projects for other Church departments.
- Assists in data collection and research preparation for Master Planning updates
- Conducts financial performance and systems analysis including forecasting trend analysis and capacity evaluation.
- Performs tasks assigned by senior managers.
- Facilitates improvements in business systems to enhance customer service.
- Resolves system issues and user inquiries across departments.
- Prepares reports & presentations analyzes data attends meetings etc.
- Creates queries and provides data to customers in an understandable format.
- Performas additional tasks as assigned by senior managers.
Qualifications- Bachelorss degree in facilities management business management or related field
- Four years of experience in facilities management capital needs analysis or business management with an emphasis on data analysis
- Proficiency with Access Power Point Excel and Word
- Power BI skills are a plus
- Capable of performing detailed technical data analysis along with the use of business processes
- Must be able to communicate effectively both written and orally
- Detail-oriented; able to identify incongruencies in data and reports; ask questions when information or data is not aligned and work with database managers to make corrections
- Must be able to keep confidences and deal with sensitive data and documents appropriately
- To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for long periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment
