Job Description
The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Capital Structure Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing and managing capital structure data
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Analyse capital structure data for public and private companies using financial reports and company press releases.
Client Support: Address ongoing client requests regarding capital structures ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Quarterly Updates: Conduct quarterly reviews of capital structures for stressed and distressed companies.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including credit research to ensure alignment on data interpretation and reporting.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and analysis processes for enhanced efficiency.
Skills:
Bachelors degree in finance Economics Accounting or a related field.
Proven experience in financial analysis preferably with a focus on capital structures or fixed income data.
Programming skills like Python SQL is a plus.
Strong understanding of accounting and finance including financial statements (income statement balance sheet and cash flow statement) gained through academic coursework work experience or a graduate training program.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to extract insights from complex financial transaction details
Reliable helpful and a team member with good work ethics with ability to work in a team-based environment with a sense of teamwork and cooperation.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Entrepreneurial mindset to problem solving.
Collaboration skills
