Job Description:
What Were Looking For:
A willingness to work with diverse populations and a commitment to serving others
Proficiency in Google Suite Microsoft Suite and Zoom with a keen eye for detail
Self-motivation and independence with regular check-ins
Strong verbal and communication skills with a positive and supportive attitude
Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with enthusiasm and attention to detail
Effective task prioritization
Strong work ethic and willingness to take on new challenges
Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive information with discretion
What Youll Be Doing:
Support Academic Studies Office operations including greeting visitors responding to phone calls and directing inquiries
Provide administrative support to senior staff including document generation organization reporting and handling special projects
Process financial transactions including check and purchase order requests expense reports and account transfers
Support University and Academic Studies Office events including planning coordination and execution
Respond to phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner
Maintain office organization including ordering supplies and ensuring a productive work environment
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred.
Proficiency in Google Suite Microsoft Suite and Zoom.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Accuracy attention to detail ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrated ability to work as a team player.
Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions and produce assignments in a timely manner.
Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement. In addition staff agree to live in agreement with PLNUs Community Life Covenant.
The job offer is contingent on the successful completion of a background check. PLNU will consider qualified applicants including those with criminal histories in a manner consistent with state and local Fair Chance laws.
Physical Requirements:
This is a 40 hour per week in-person position. This role is not eligible for remote or hybrid work.
Ability to communicate effectively with others in person and by phone.
Work is primarily sedentary and may require sitting standing bending or stooping for extended periods of time.
Use of computer equipment: computer keyboard mouse and monitor.
Vision to read documents e-mail and other correspondence and reports on paper and computer monitor.
Will also stand stoop push pull and lift up to 10 pounds throughout the day.
