Were looking for a passionate Social Media & Community Manager to lead the online presence and fan engagement for our new football game. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes gaming understands gaming communities and thrives in the fast-paced world of digital content creators and community building.
Youll be the voice of the game shaping its personality across social platforms nurturing a growing fanbase and forging strong long-term relationships with players and creators. From feedback to patch notes and from tournaments to behind-the-scenes dev diaries youll be the bridge between our team and our community.
Youll be part of a small tight-knit in-house marketing team of seven people. We work in a flat structure where the product marketing manager sets the overall strategy and direction and youll take the lead on bringing it to life. Social media and community platforms (with Discord front and center) will be your home turf.
Execute our content strategy across platforms (X Instagram TikTok YouTube Discord Reddit Steam etc.).
Plan and publish engaging timely and authentic content that resonates with football and gaming audiences.
Create engagement strategies for our community channels and be present and active in our community spaces facilitating discussions gathering feedback and building trust through events Q&As playtests and other community-driven activities.
Analyze community sentiment and synthesize feedback from across the player base identifying trends surfacing meaningful insights (not just the loudest opinions) and creating clear feedback loops with the dev team to ensure community voices directly inform development decisions
Identify and engage influential community members who can become brand advocates. Highlight user-generated content and creator achievements spotlighting positive community contributions.
Lead the moderator team and be responsible for recruiting coordinating and encouraging them to stay active and engaged. Manage community guidelines for mods and members and ensure the environment remains respectful and inclusive.
2 years relevant experience from the PC/console gaming industry as a social media/community/influencer manager
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging community-centric content.
Strong familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok Instagram X) and community platforms (Reddit Discord).
Extensive experience as a gamer with a strong passion for and knowledge in especially football games and esport titles
An analytical mindset: You use metrics and sentiment tracking to guide decisions not just instincts.
Proficiency in English and a second language
The position is permanent and you can work from our Stockholm office hybrid or fully remote from anywhere in Europe. It is important that you are able to communicate unhindered in verbal/written English.
