About the role
As our Senior QA Specialist at Xensam you will join our growing team in Romania as we expand our in-house QA capabilities. This is a broad and hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and wants to help shape the future of QA at a scaling B2B SaaS company.

Responsibilities
You will be executing manual and automated testing across web API and backend layers. You will also take ownership of test planning coverage and execution and act as the local senior QA specialist mentoring future hires and collaborating closely with our QA lead and product teams in Stockholm. Furthermore you will:

• Collaborate with the development and QA team to define testing requirements and priorities.
• Execute test cases for new features bug fixes and regression cycles.
• Contribute to test planning test case design and documentation.
• Participate in integration and end-to-end testing including work with databases and third-party systems.
• Support ongoing improvements to test coverage and automation where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in software QA with strong skills in manual testing and a good understanding of automation testing.
• Familiarity with QA processes tools and methodologies within an agile environment.
• Experience writing and executing test cases for web-based applications and APIs.
• Good knowledge of SQL including writing queries to verify test outcomes.
• Experience writing automated test scripts using a programming or scripting language (e.g. JavaScript Python or similar).
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools preferably Playwright.
• Good communication skills and a strong proficiency in written and spoken English.

• Experience implementing automation testing.
• Experience from working in a scale up company.
