This exciting role presents an opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge project that is revolutionizing the solar energy industry. As a 3D Residential Roof Modeler you will be instrumental in creating accurate and detailed 3D models of residential rooftops using the clients proprietary software. These 3D models are crucial for simplifying solar panel installation for solar power companies across the United States and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently create 3D models of residential buildings from 2D map imagery using the clients proprietary software.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all 3D models adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment to meet project deadlines and production targets.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the clients software and its functionalities.
- Continuously improve modeling techniques and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Identify and troubleshoot any modeling issues or challenges that may arise.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work performed.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to 3D modeling and solar energy.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles and building construction methods.
- Proven experience with CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SketchUp) is essential.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
