Job Description

Description
Responsibilities and nbsp;
Applied to both the process and the outcome of thinking out and specifying the overall structure logical components and the logical interrelationships of a computer its operating system a network or other conception. Defines the structure and relationship among applications including the identification of re-usable components quality level metrics the organization and layering of software and the determination of interfaces. Responsibilities also include developing implementing and managing at least one cross-platform application in a large and distributed environment monitor the whole system understand all interactions between components on a given level of abstraction as well as to define limitations and requirements for source code. and nbsp;
Defines the interactions between application packages databases and middleware systems. and nbsp;
General Skills and nbsp;
Experience in the development and implementation of application architectures at the specified experience level and nbsp;
Extensive experience with at least two different computing platforms operating systems environments database technologies programming languages and communication protocols and nbsp;
Experience with middleware and gateways and nbsp;
Knowledge of performance considerations in different environments and nbsp;
Experience in structured methodologies for the design development and implementation of applications and nbsp;
Extensive experience in systems analysis and design in large systems environments and nbsp;
Experience in the use of development tools Computer Aided Software Engineering C A S E tools information retrieval packages and other software tools such as project management software and business re-engineering software and nbsp;
Experience in the use of data and process modelling methodologies techniques and tools including a working knowledge of metadata structures repository functions and data dictionaries and nbsp;
Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) and nbsp;
Awareness of emerging I and amp;IT trends and directions and nbsp;
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills and nbsp;
A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines and nbsp;
Desirable Skills and nbsp;
Knowledge and understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques and nbsp;
Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models) based on Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture methodologies processes and practice and nbsp;
Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices and nbsp;
Experience designing detailed functional and technical requirements for new and existing business solutions and nbsp;
Experience developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g. models and documentation) and nbsp;
Experience leading multi-tier application infrastructure design documentation and configuration for medium or large corporate implementations and nbsp;
Experience designing developing implementing and maintaining large complex applications workflow processes and dynamic forms

- Experience design and amp; implementation with Azure Cloud Infrastructure
- Knowledge of Microsoft Online implementations Office 365 Power Apps Flows SharePoint

Design build and sustainment of IT Applications 35
- Extensive experience supporting and maintaining OpenText Content Suite applications across multiple lower and production environments
- Experience in designing and amp; implementation with Microservices architecture.
- Experience with DevOps
- Experience with Pipelines and amp; Builds
- Experience designing and implementing Big Data repositories.
- Experience with designing/implementing Business Intelligence systems
- Experience designing and implementing NOSQL databases such as Cosmos DB (Document DB) or any document-oriented database program (SQL).
- Experience for planning designing and reviewing the construction of APIs
- Experience with evaluating and onboarding vendor APIs
- Experience producing intuitive and highly consumable APIs
- Experience producing documentation for client developers
- Experience managing an API Management platform
Analytical Problem Solving and Communication Skills 20
- Proven ability to lead organizational development strategy development business planning.
- Strong experience ensuring knowledge is shared among team members such project objectives and deliverables are met.
- Working knowledge resolving resourcing and inter-personal conflicts negotiating changes to resourcing.
Public Sector experience 5
Experience with Public Sector I and amp;IT standards and best practices facilitating control of systems quality adherence to standard methodology and the control of the use of I and amp;IT resources would be an asset.
Must Have:
