Job Description

3 month contract with a local Authority


Job Purpose

  • The Data Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the timely and accurate provision of data insights to support teams within Regulated Service & Resources

Key Duties/Accountabilities

  • Develop Data Systems: Review existing data recording system(s) and support the development of new data recording systems.
  • Data Analysis: Gather data and scrutinise data from a range of sources to support service delivery future planning and reporting. Ensure that data analysis aligns with best practices and delivers actionable insights.
  • Service Area Intelligence: Take a lead role in analysing data related to children at risk of becoming looked after and children in care by offering insights to support service delivery improvements and realise efficiencies.
  • Working Collaboratively: Work closely with stakeholders across fostering teams and edge of care team. Translate their business intelligence and data analysis needs into technical requirements for reporting purposes that improve decision-making and outcomes.

Essential Experience Required

  • Extensive experience in a regulatory or quality assurance role within children s services.

Essential Qualification Required

  • A minimum of an undergraduate related to the field.

Additional information to note

  • This role is 35 working hours per week.
  • DBS is required for this role.
