Are you a Nurse Practitioner with a passion for geriatric patients
A well-established long-term care group is seeking Full-time Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to see geriatric patients in an assisted living facility located in Kenton OH. If you are looking to fulfill your career connect with patients on a one-on-one basis and help them heal and live a better quality of life this position is for you.
Requirements:
- Valid NP license in the state of Ohio
- Board Certification
- DEA
- At least 1 year of experience working as an NP
- Primary Care experience- strongly preferred
Duties will include:
- Managing all Primary Care related consults
- History and physical exam
- Medication review
- Prescribe medication and drugs
- Check in with patients who have acute issues and establish a follow-up plan
- Reach an informed diagnosis based on medical knowledge and the patients medical history
