The Director Media Operations will be a strategic and results-oriented leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of media operations. This role involves identifying operational requirements streamlining processes and ensuring the effective execution of media campaigns to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills technical expertise in media platforms and analytics and a proven ability to drive operational excellence and innovation. This candidate will have a deep understanding of marketing platforms measurement & experimentation methodologies and media enabling data flow ecology.
Responsibilities
Strategic Execution
Develop and oversee lead flow continuity and optimization that spans the marketing funnel aligning with Walden Universitys objectives for brand growth enrollment and student outcomes.
Identify operational requirements create and organize streamlined processes and facilitate agency enablement and usage.
Understand the digital measurement infrastructure strategy and evolve with industry and ecosystem to achieve segment business objectives.
Identify potential operational risks and develop robust contingency plans and disaster recovery strategies.
Identify bottlenecks streamline workflows implement best practices and leverage data.
Oversee tracking and attribution infrastructure.
Innovate to derive increased value from lead generation through enrollment conversion.
Work cross-functionally with Enrollment Product/Technical specialists and Partners to synthesize technical and strategic business requirements into cohesive business cases and drive operational excellence.
Promote and triage hand-offs for implementation acting as a liaison between key partner teams to ensure project completion.
Establish clear processes and accountability across internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive lead flow continuity.
Create feedback loops to apply learnings run experiments and continuously improve the effectiveness of media efforts.
Leadership
Translate the organizations overall strategy into clear operational goals.
Lead teams through technological transitions workflow redesigns or strategic shifts ensuring buy-in and smooth adoption of new processes or systems.
Articulate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders report on performance present strategic plans and manage vendor relationships.
Foster strong internal partnerships across marketing enrollment and analytics teams to ensure cohesive planning and execution.
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree required graduate degree preferred.
Platform Proficiency:
Google Marketing products (SA/DV/GCM 360)
Meta Business Manager
Cloud infrastructure & data warehouses (DSP/CDP/DMP)
CRM systems (Salesforce)
MAP (Eloqua)
Data and Analytics:
Thorough understanding of lead data workflows across various platforms
Knowledge of tracking logic tag management and attribution methodologies
Ability to troubleshoot data integrity issues and ensure measurement accuracy across campaigns and channels
Proficiency with Google Analytics 4
Process and Optimization:
Ability to identify operational requirements create and organize streamlined processes
Skill in identifying bottlenecks streamlining workflows and implementing best practices
Proven ability to build process and improve documentation
Experience developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Problem Solving and Risk Management:
Foresight to identify potential operational risks and develop robust contingency plans
Capacity to analyze complex operational issues evaluate potential solutions and implement effective fixes
Cross-functional Collaboration and Communication:
Skilled in cross-functional collaboration especially between marketing analytics technology teams and agencies
Ability to articulate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders
Experience in managing vendor relationships
Lead Management and Conversion:
Ability to own the end-to-end flow of qualified leads
Capability to innovate to derive increased value from lead generation through enrollment conversion
Ability to establish clear processes and accountability across internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive lead flow continuity
Skill in creating feedback loops to apply learnings run experiments and continuously improve the effectiveness of media efforts
Ability to travel - 10%.
Additional Information :
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country the expected salary range for this position is between $100171 and $181034. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
