The Fleet Support Engineer promptly estimates prepares and processes all services purchase orders spare parts and stores requisitions for second hand vessels newbuilding vessels and retrofit projects and coordinates with internal stakeholders any new or additional requisitions as well as any revisions needed within the Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
The position also includes responsibility for monitoring the supply levels of the spare parts pool and supports optimization opportunities related to critical and common spare parts and bulk orders.
The Fleet Support Engineer ensures that planned and unplanned works on board vessels are on track and performs scheduling or rescheduling of services work in the PMS system when required. Other key responsibilities include the monitoring of cost accounts the production of reports and the review of associated invoices.
