Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Operations Specialist to join our Global Biologicals Production & Supply team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the supply chain operations for our third-party Biologicals deals on a global scale. The position plays a pivotal role in balancing inventory targets and customer service levels resolving complex supply chain issues and driving stakeholder alignment across our global network. This position requires expertise in core planning processes across country regional and global levels with a strong focus on forecast management and operational excellence. We are looking for a highly collaborative candidate with an end-to-end process mind-set and a robust background in supply chain processes preferably within the biologicals or agricultural industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills cross-functional collaboration experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced multicultural environment.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities include but are not limited to;

  • Manage global third-party Biologicals planning and operational oversight balancing inventory targets and customer service levels
  • Resolve supply chain issues provide S&OP inputs and conduct supplier operations reviews
  • Drive stakeholder alignment and act as subject matter expert for key processes
  • Maintain supply chain maps data and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulatory and Syngentas internal standards

Qualifications and required experience

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or related field
  • Solid experience in supply chain operations with expertise in core planning processes across country regional and global levels
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain tools and processes particularly in planning (SAP APO reports)
  • Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and master data requirements
  • Experience in different supply operations functions at country or regional level
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to collaborate across regions cultures and companies
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are advantageous
  • Experience in supplier or customer-facing roles is beneficial
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and develop good end-to-end process understanding
